The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent opportunity for an individual with an interest in the Arts. Full-time, in-house position, paid hourly at $21-$23 per hour. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.Responsibilities include:Manage the preparation of fair market value appraisals from the initial call to the delivery of the completed appraisal in a timely mannerAttend on-site appraisals with the team of appraisersCommunicate with attorneys, paralegals, executors and other clients and/or consultants, as requiredOrganize and compile all materials needed for the appraisal from the appraisers and other sourcesProofread your own work and the work of colleaguesParticipate in auctions and other events at DoyleRequirements:Bachelor's and/or Master's DegreeBasic understanding of fine and decorative arts terms, furniture styles and periodsBasic understanding of appraisal reports and methodologyStrong typing and proofreading skills and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe and similar programsLegally authorized to work in the United StatesIf you feel you meet the qualifications for this position, we invite you to apply by submitting your resume, cover letter, and any other relevant documents.
